Please contact us if you would like us to dance at your event! We are available for cultural and folk festivals, showers, weddings, births, corporate parties, and other events. We also offer workshops for girl's nights, office parties, and other occasions. We do volunteer our time for good causes and fundraisers. (Please note: We will NOT under any circumstances dance at a bachelor or stag party.)

Thursday, July 24th - Cultural Program
7:30 - 8:30 pm at St. David's Church Hall
The Neighbourhood Strays will be dancing at the Multicultural Women's Organization of Newfoundland and Labrador Annual Cultural Program. Come enjoy a night of fantastic multicultural performances!

Saturday, July 26, & Sunday, July 27 - SummerDance
2:00 - 4:00 pm at the
Family Stage (on the lawn to the south of the Fluvarium)
Free admission
SummerDance is a festival of dance, featuring a variety of dance groups and independent dance artists, showcasing the wide range of styles, traditions, and forms found in this province. The Neighbourhood Strays will be performing both days!

Saturday, July 26 - Lantern Festival
Victoria Park (time TBA)
Free admission
The Victoria Park Lantern Festival incorporates music, theatre, giant puppets, stilts, and other performances, including the Neighbourhood Strays! As it grows dark, the lanterns are lit, and the evening culminates in a lantern procession around the park.

Thursday, August 7th - Arts Under the Stars
7:30 - 9:30 pm at Elizabeth Swan Park, Tilley's Road, Clarenville
The Neighbourhood Strays are hitting the road! The troupe will be the featured performers at Clarenville's Arts Under the Stars. Earlier in the day, we will be holding workshops and a bazaar at the New Curtain Theatre (Middle Chalet, White Hills Ski Resort). Check back for more information. 

Friday, August 8th - Sunday, August 10th - Busker Festival
Downtown St. John's
The Neighbourhood Strays are super excited to be participating in this year's Busker Festival! We will post our performance schedule when it is finalized.

(Please note, Haflas are for dancers and drummers only, unless otherwise indicated.
They are
not meant to be a public performance, but more of a fun gathering.)

Saturday, August 2nd - The Neighbourhood Strays Hafla
5:30 pm at the School of Dance (163 Water Street)
There is no fee to attend the hafla; however, we do ask for donations to cover the cost of the space and you can bring food if you would like to. Exciting news for the bellydance community will be announced at the hafla!
